We did a bus ride to Los Chiles from La Fortuna today. We boarded a boat at Cano Negro and saw a lot of great wildlife. There were many caymans, lots of howler monkeys, including an orange recessive gene variety, and many birds, even bats.
We spent the afternoon at the Arenal hot springs in pools of various temperatures up to 107 degrees.
I would like to write more, but there is just not enough time in the day. We have been packing in a lot of activites. Tomorrow won't be any different, but having the Wifi in the hotel room should help me catch up.
I have the best of the photos loaded at least. Some stories were added, but were lost when the web page crashed. The pictures still tell the stories well though.
Love to all.

Wow!
Wow! Your pictures are fantastic! The rainforest looks exactly like the books! It is weird seeing your photos. Honestly, they look exactly like some I used for a Powerpoint for the kids last year. Your hotels and rooms look gorgeous and the walks look fantastic too! Look forward to talking to you tomorrow night!

Re: Wow!
Holly,
Yes, it is absolutely incredible here. People are friendly and it is pretty safe over all. The jungle is so lush and diverse. The value we are getting on this trip is phenoniminal. I have a ton of video to compile which I have not been able to load on the site, but words and photos only tell so much of the story. You really have to see it!
