We have arrived in Cordoba after a 10 hour bus ride from Buenos Aires. The Busses pass trucks, cars and other busses on narrow, two lane, head on highway. Driving through some towns, if you could call them towns you can see some extreme poverty. Arriving in the city, which is a college town, there are many young people. We visited the oldest church and second oldest university in South Anerica, founded by the Jesuits. The people here are friendly, but as I was for the most part unaware, more than 95% are of European origin. There are virtually no fat people here, actually they may even border on a little too skinny. From here we are off to the countryside of Argentina, which is vast. The last two cities that we have visited contain many of the total amount of people in Argentina, and Argentina is only a little smaller than India! So from here there will be beautiful sights. Also, I will upload a few of the pictures that Sophia takes on her digital camera now and again.
