Sights on the ride to and from Key West to Sugarloaf-Rosario and Marsha (we met at Lazy Lakes and spent some fun times with ) on their Softail Custom; Hurricane Joes-a great place for wings and margaritas on Stock Island, a few shots of the sunset and the view from Route 1.
Plus, some of our new friends. Rosario and Marsha (in the front). Jan and Al (with baseball caps) we met in Key West at Rick's. They own no real estate and have lived on a 40 foot sail boat for since 1998! Speaking of Rick's-Yo! Adrian plays there on Thursdays at 4-funny guy and decent musician.
Parrotdise is a restaurant that overlooks the water just before Big Pine Key
No Name Pub is on No Name key-everyone raves about their pizza (we did not fancy it). But their other claim to fame is that you can write your name on a dollar bill and stick it on the wall (or ceiling). As you can see from the picture, the entire place is covered!
The picture of the blender is part of the signature of the Mile Marker 24 Band, which is a very popular, Buffet-esque band that brews its own margaritas in a blender powered by an ancient outboard boat motor and gives samples to the audience.
