Muh - it's almost over!! Here we are now into our final few days in Australia, and our entire traveling adventure is almost over. We are staying with Katie and Paul again and it's fantastic to see them and Ted and Em again. We teach the kids how to play spit and how to eat a Tim Tam slam, both invaluable skills to have. We also get the chance to buy our last minute souvenirs at the Rocks market. And then suddenly that's that...we're in the car and heading towards the bizarre! We knew this day was coming but it feels very odd to be leaving. We are really looking forward to getting home and seeing everyone but reality is hitting home again that after a couple of weeks it will undoubtedly be crap. We've had 6 awesome months in Australia where we have made some really amazing and truly fabulous friends (that's you Tony and Sarah!), we've encountered loads of the weird and wonderful stuff that Australia has to offer, we've come across the good (beaches, sunshine, friends, turtles, whale sharks, cowboys), the bad (certain flatmates we don't care to mention, speeding fines, broken ankles, temp agencies) and the ugly (squished thorny devils, bedbugs, mozzie bites, cockroaches) and every minute of it has been an experience we don't ever want to forget. Thanks for everything Australia and maybe see you again sometime soon...?
