9th and 10th May
The 9th was spent checking out Adelaide city, having a wander down by the Murray River and through Adelaide University pretending to be students again. The city is a lot nicer than we expected, with plenty of old buildings (one being the post office where we had to pay evil speeding fine) and lots of statues dotted around town. On our last day in South Australia we headed out to Glenelg to visit the Rodney Fox shark musuem. This guy is a legend! He was attacked by a Great White Shark in the 60's and half his torso disappeared! Since then he has dedicated his life to researching these sharks. We paid a visit to the musuem to find that Rodney Fox himself was there so we were very lucky to get talking to him for a while about his experiences and research. He did say we could go out on one of his trips to dive with the great whites and we may well take him up on his offer once we're rich enough to afford it!
Tonight is spent trying to cram everything into our bags ready for our flight to Perth tomorrow.
