Having arrived in Turoa late the night before we didn't actually get to Wilsons Promontory National Park until today. Sitting on the benches deciding what walk to do we realised that the resident crimson rosellas are very very friendly and that they too enjoy chocolate hobs nobs just as much as the kangaroos!
We took a walk to Squeaky Beach and clambered over, around and through the massive rocks on the beach before having some lunch. We also came across several dead birds, a dead penguin and a dead seahorse, nice. The scenery was absolutely stunning and we got to touch the Southern Ocean for the first time.
In the afternoon we headed on to Melbourne where after checking in to the hostel we went for a well needed slap up dinner at La Camera down by the Yarra River and then on to drinks at Young and Jacksons. It was comedy night so had a giggle along with a couple of vodkas to round the night off while trying to avoid catching the attention of the comedian and being picked on, mission successful.
