A visit to the metropolis of San Francisco for a couple of days. We stayed on the outskirts at Larkspur and took the ferry into the city. We spent a few hours exploring the sights of Fisherman's wharf, Haight Ashbury etc. The food was excellelnt and we found a great bar serving British beer. 

We found that the King Tutankhamun exhibition was in town and took the opportunity to spend a few hours amongst the ancient treasures as we had missed it in London.

On leaving the city we walked across the Golden Gate bridge taking in the views across the city and Alcatraz whilst trying to avoid the lunatic cyclists.
