We spent the last week in the Yasawa islands. On the first night we joined a traditional Fiji feast followed by an Imeke (traditional dancing and singing).

A couple of days later we went snorkelling with Manta Rays and got very close to three rays:
On our last night we had a lobster feast at a table on the beach.
Local spear caught lobster!
Following this, the villagers invited us to join them for kava. This is a strange herbal drink with mildly narcotic effects. Looks and tastes odd, makes your tongue and lips go numb but you certainly sleep well afterwards!

Hi both, I can't believe the adventures you two are having (and how blonde Carols hair looks), the swimming with Manta rays must have been amazing!! Hope the Kava kept Owen quiet for a while!! Phil is appreciating the footie banter, I think he's quite glad you are 1/2 the world away so isn't getting too much grief. Keep on having amazing times looking forward to hearing about it in full, and all the pics when you get back, eventually! Love Cath & Phil x
