Caroline here... from our hotel foyer.
We have just arrived back to our hotel foyer after our final night in Amalfi :( Enjoyed a lovely dinner at Maccus ( a trattoria in Amalfi ). My meals over the last couple of days have largely consisted of seafood - surprise surpise when you are on the coast ). Even Callum has gotten into this seafood thing!
Our day today went just as planned. Now I FINALLY understand how to get a tan! You actually have to sit in the sun for hours on end!! Today we spent the day on the beach (our private beach for only 5 euro each) and followed the sun. Only interruption was a break for pizza (brought down to you of course). Must say, we had a great time, but couldn't do it everyday. Will keep it up if we can once we get to the Greek Is - this is only training after all.
Dinner had been recommended to us by our friendly concierge at the villa we are in. Glad we went there. Off the standard Amalfi track and enjoyed dinner, followed by dolci and the much anticipated LIMONCELLO. We were quite impressed with it. Went down smoothly and can see why it makes a good digestive. The wine with dinner was very impressive - a red from Salerno. V good !
Not much else to report as Callum has been very good and kept you up to date.

Hey guys!
so i am keeping up the tradition of posting on your blog...as these are the last few days that i will (unless you keep this blog...like we were discussing in Roma over the weekend!)
Hope that Roma has kept up the good weather for you...ie it is SUNNY..and that there were some purchases made today in Gucci!!! And no Cal...not from the guy at the bottom of the Spanish steps!!
Thanks for a great weekend....only a taster/starter for what we have in store for us over the next week in the Greek Islands!!

Alas, no response yet from dan... oh and i just checked and we DID respond to his first posting, appears he just did not see it because he never checked back??
No gucci yet, and alas, no prada either... i can't find them anywhere!!! :( The guy at the bottom of the spanish steps is looking better and better...

humm... umm, i was waiting till the greek islands because we thought you'd prefer one from there??

Today will be my last post for a week....as tonight I fly to athens and tomorrow I will be seeing you (so real life post rather than a virtual post!)....
