What a fantastic city! And to all those who say the French are not very friendly, you are completely wrong, you just mustn't have been very nice to them - everyone we've come across has been incredibly nice and helpful.
A quick run down of what we've done in our whirlwind 2.5 days here so far is.... the Museums: Orsay, Louvre, Salvador Dali, and a very quick look at Centre Pompidou; the Churches: Notre Damn, Sacre Cour; the monuments: Eiffel Tour, Arc de Trimpuh and some other minor ones as we wandered around... also thrown in there has been a few walks through gardens like Tuleries and Place du Vosges, some nice lunches and dinners, and of course the shops - Galleries La Fayette, Printemps and heaps of little boutiques!
Tomorrow we're off to Reims where things should get a tad more relaxing.... I'm sure we'll write a longer entry about Paris and Reims, etc then.

Oh dear...i knew i forgot to do something on friday when i was leaving work!! Damn...i will make up for the missing day with an extra reply one day!!
You guys sound like you are having a blast...Reims sounds fantastic (with all that champagne..!)
Enjoy Venice...make sure you get lost (this is not hard) and don't get ripped off by the restaurants (watch out for ones that advertise 'tourist special'!!)
