We travelled to Sylhet with Aishah's uncle Mr Rahman, the finance minister of Bangladesh. This involved a convoy of cars clearing all the hectic traffic of Dhaka which was impressive to see (photos to follow). His hospitality was amazing, touring Sylhet in style and apparently we were in the news as well! The tea gardens in this area were very picturesque, we were invited to two - and we were given tea to bring home so you will be able to sample it! We also visited Jaflon (sp?)which is the border of India - we went to the zero zero point and saw all the stone quarries in the area. Mr Rahman had sent his PA with vus this day to look after us along with 6 police men, there were only 4 of us!!
