What's the worst things that can happen when you are camping?

1.45am. I woke up. A few gusts of wind flapped the outer tent. Then the tent simply collapsed! Actually it was inevitable as the pegs were in desert sand.

I sat up for an hour watching the lightening storms above the Valley of the Gods and the stars. This was amazing!

Despite the collapsed tent, the rain held off and we slept. the sun rise on the monoliths where we were camped in front of were amazing.

As we set off back north into Utah, the sun was causing haze across the whole valley. Magic!

We headed north for hours before we reach Arches National Park.

Being back here was special. We did the Devil's Garden Trail and this time we hiked up to Delicate Arch. I felt like I was on top of the world there. We briefly visited "Windows" and then we headed to Canyonlands where we camped.

We went to the Green River Overlook and did the Upheaval Dome trail before going to Island in the Sky.

What a majestic place.I never tire of the views and interesting shapes here.

After the sun set, we ate wearily and went straight to bed. What a day!
