Last night was the best night's sleep yet! I got up early and had my final breakfast.

My water melons were due on Farmville and it took an agonizing hour to harvest & re sow coffee with the slow machine and the mouse (with its external ball!).

I said farewell to the Balco Symphony, purchased my lunch and by 9.00am, I was sat on the Triton fountain waiting for the No 8 to the airport.

I loved Malta. Valetta was a really interesting day with spectacular views of the harbour and surroundings.

The highlights for me have to be the Ggantija Temple and the citadel in Victoria (Rabat). Those memories will certainly stay with me.

Low points!? Arriving at the hostel and no one there! Nor forgetting the bus crashing. Just makes you realize how lucky you can be!

Speak of bus drivers; our driver to the airport was a total contrast to Mr. 645! Despite more tricky twists and turns though the towns towards the airport, his driving was smooth and skilled.

There are some beautiful towns between Valetta and the airport. As I travelled through them, I got a glimpse at a couple of formidable churches. Usual style (2 steeples and long straight main section).

I checked in with little delay. A couple who had shared the final part of the bus calamity greeted me at the airport. Turns out there are teachers too!

The flight was made short by a lady from Hartlepool (agoraphobic) and Hazel (with the crumb on her lip!). I was the first out. Brilliant idea this hand luggage lark!

Despite the nearly metro calamity I met Uri and Mick (Tower Cleaning) on the metro back and had my ticket checked! Brilliant holiday, great break. Got the bug again!
