The scenery leaving Mambo View continued with the cultivated hills, old adobe houses with wooden roof tiles and a few "wood" bridges. After approx. 1 hours drive, we came into a mountain reserve. There were huge trees and green ferns, which in areas enclose the road, so giving the impression that you are in a tunnel.
 After the reserve, we reached Lushoto. Lushoto seems to be the main hub within the mountain community. In fact, the road improves to the point that there are buses, trucks and taxis. We even saw an University school.
We travelled through Lushoto in search of Irente Farm. After a few ditches and bad roads, we found it. It is a "biodiversity farm" and they have a few products on sale. The camp site is small but provides good ablutions, clean hot water and a restful atmosphere. The place is managed by a South African, which as usua,l swears he will never go back to SA.

From here we are heading to the east coast, where we plan to follow it towards the Mozambican border and hopefully have a chance to pop into Zanzibar (Depending on a few things, like where to leave the vehicle, accommodation and so on).

Anita is looking forward to getting a "tan"and I can not wait for seafood.

So the first destination is Peponi beach, just south of Tanga.
