We arrived at Kazungula around midday. We went to check for accommodation at the Chobe Safari Lodge. They were fully booked, so we started checking on the adjacent places. Typical Botswana, everything is fully booked. With that behind us, we proceeded to get ready for the crossing into Zambia. Fuel, groceries, water, etc.
The Zambezi is flowing strongly although at low level. Can only imagine what it would be at its full strength. We boarded the ferry and off we went. The crossing went well, except by being taken for a few dollars with the exchange rate. The good thing about it was that Anita could stay behind while I was busy with documentation. SO she had a few pics taken.
Then, to Livingstone, where we would meet with Mike &Christine. We arrived there just in time to set camp before dark. It was a long day, but eventually we were in Zambia.
Tomorrow, we will have a look at the Victoria falls.
