Tomorrow the afterschool classes are changing. At the moment they children have one class per day which runs from 245pm to 4pm. This is quite a long time for them to concentrate on one subject so the new way is to be 2 45minute classes instead. This means they'll have a change of subject and a new face to teach them. Hopefully it'll mean they learn more as well
For some reason I seem to attracting all kinds of insects today. First of all mosquitoes decided to attack my arms. They used to go for my legs but since I have been plastering them in mosquito cream, it's kept them away. However they mustn't be as stupid as they look and have finally realized they can go for my arms! Now every part of me smells of bug spray. Again I ask the question, what is a mosquito's purpose on this earth? I know they have one, but I've yet to find it! It couldn't simply be to keep us all scratching could it?!
Then night while I was washing the dishes, some black thing crawled out. No idea what it was but it looked like a cross between a crab and a mini dinosaur, as it had a horn for its nose. Then in my bathroom tonight, climbing the wall, was a spider the size of Hambantota. I've never seen one like it before but was able to steer it out of the window with a broom.
Finally, thinking I had seen enough, I went to make some noodles for tea. Emptied the packet into the saucepan and happened to look to see the surface of the water cover in ants that I had just boiled alive! After the inital thinking "whats the craic" came to the conclusion that the packet had a hole in it and thats how they had gotten in. So tried packet number 2, which was perfectly sealed, only for the same thing to happen! This didn't deter me and you'll be pleased to hear packet number 3 was in tip top condition! This lead to a mass genocide of ants as I attacked every cupboard with a generous helping of insect spray afterwards. I think we'll be calling in an ant exterminator if such a thing exists-failing that we'll buy a pet aardvark!
Just for the record, during all these incidents the "man" of the house (Mr Mark) was whimpering in the cornor of the room! It's good i'm not scared of creepy crawlies!
