Yesterday morning we called into the market to satisfy my addiction to papaya! I don't know why I haven't noticed the market before in the past 15weeks! We had gone to the Sunday market a few weeks ago but I thought yesterdays was better as it had fruits as well as vegetables. It's great as it's so cheap and fresh. As always we went in for 1 thing and came out with bags of fresh fruit and veg. the only thing was I wanted some tomatoes but you could only buy them by the kilo so I thought why not. I didn't realize that I would end up with about 30 of the little red things! This meant that yesterday afternoon was spent cooking and now the freezer is full of roasted tomato sauce for pasta - can't go wrong with that!

This morning we helped out with Sunday School. Still none the wiser as to what they were learning but Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sara and Mary and Joseph were all mentioned! There were about 25 children who were split into 3 groups. It always amazes me, whether it's at school or even at the church club last week, how the children listen intently to everything that is being taught. It's like they thirst for information. Very seldom are they told off for talking or not doing their work.

Went to Oasis for lunch where a strange creature was spotted on the grass. It was some kind of lizard that reminded me strangely of a crocodile with a squirrels face! I wanted to pick it up as it looked quite cute but didn't after Mark's reaction to my comment - it was too fast for me anyway! So if anyone knows what it is and more importantly if it'll kill me if I lift it, it would be good to know incase we stumble across it again!

The Oasis backs onto the sea so we took a walk up after lunch. As always, you could stand peering out onto the ocean for hours. A random fact - if you got into a boat and sailed south from here, the first part of land you'll come in contact with is Antarctica. It would be after a very long time and you'd be slightly cooler!
