the electric has been off from 9am and came on again around 5pm so it's been a very laxy day. The height of our expeditions was a walk down to the shops to stock up the fridge with the essentials, and of course the non essential biscuits and chocolate!
Roderick didn't make it down this weekend as he had too much work on. Gordon had a rather interestimg meeting with the architect today. he doesn't speak english so he had renalli on the phone who worked as the go between. hopefully the classrooms will start to be built on wednesday, altho communication hass been a probably and slowed the process slightly. on the plus side, we are getting a translator - well gordon is so tht he can communicate with the builders. he's coming down at the end of the week and will prob be around for the next 8weeks until the classrooms are complete. renalli is coming down on tuesday and staying until the guy comes, so she can introduce us to him.
nothing else really to report today - it has been quite uneventful! the smell coming from the kitchen is very good-hopefully it tastes just as good!
