another day is over. the days are starting to go quickly, altho this is one i'd probably rather forget! yes as the title suggests, today i had a close relationship with the toilet. unfortunatley this meant i didn't have a very productive day. went over to the preschool for 45mins but i really was a waste of space sp spent most of the day lying in bed with air conditioning on. i'm ok know. have just ate a banana and so far so good!

was gutted i couldn't make it to the afterschhol class today because it was english, but sure there's about 20more tuesdays for that!

renalli is leaving us tomorrow so it's going to be weird without her. she has briefed me this eveing on what i'll be doing, once i start my "real work" on monday. in preschool they want me to read english books and teach them songs....any suggestions would be good cos at the mo all i can think of is "if your happy and you know it" and "old macdonald"

! then every afternno i'll take an afterschool class for english. you can just imagine little sri lankan kids running arounf with broad belfast accents - looking forward to that!

i also have to work alongside teachers. discipline of children is an alien concept out here so i have to train the teachers how to deal with it. simple things i've observed already is the kids don't know how to share. so will work with the teachers to show them how to deal with these situations. also there's a lot of standing on chairs/tables. as i'm "the boss" while renalli is away, i'll have to make sure teachers aren't taking it easy, arriving late etc and feedback. so should be interesting!

anyways think thats about all. i've uploaded photos of where i'm living and try and get some of the kids as well
