We haven't written in this blog in such a long time i had to ask bob what the address was again!~Well, there hasn't been anything too exciting from this end. We got to Delhi, it was 120 degrees. We tried to get out of Delhi asap, and we went up to Manali, and met Drew and Jessica. Had a great time hanging out with them, sooo good to see old friends, had a blast catching up on travel stories. We enjoyed Manali, which is like Telluride, Colorado, did yoga had some great food, and just enjoyed time with the friends. then we went to Kalpa. it was a local bus then we got our own taxi complete with driver, and he speed us there in about 9 hours! luckily, each vehicle here has it's own worshiping shrine that lights up in the dark, so you can have a disco party with it as well, so we could pray to our God and his God when he was driving too crazy! We got to this town at night, and knew we were up pretty high in the mountains. We woke up the next day to a huge box canyon of snowy himalayans, it was truly amazing! it's a tiny village, with only a few guesthouses just now. they have a local temple that is used for hindu and buddhist religions, and i guess that is rare here. the locals were super nice, and we enjoyed the views, even saw an avalanche one day.
they
have all kinds of fruits and vegetables growing at 10,000 feet! we enjoyed time there, then went to shimla, a really huge town with a cute "old town" that looked like something from old europe. then we went to the next city on a "toy train" to chrinigar, a huge city, and bob ran right smack dab into his travel wall. he wasn't going any further. he had it. he didn't want anymore trains, no more buses, no more dirty guesthouses, no more staring (you know the game you played as a kid when you stared and couln't blink, well, india wins hands down), no more dodging cow pooh and loogies on the ground while looking out for the buses that are flying inches away from where you are,. no more people trying to get thier swindle on because my white skin stands out for miles! so we told drew and jess we were punking out and going back to where we know we loved it. small mountain town, who would have thought. we have been hanging out here for 2 weeks and in india for 3 now. we have meet all of the locals, and have quite the routine even. i get up and do yoga, bob sleeps in and meets me for breakfast at the blue elephant. i feel great doing yoga everyday in the mountains is my personal dream! i even got Bob to do a meditation class, but he wouldn't hum. so he sat indian style for 45 minutes while me and Manish got our humming on. he made his leg fall asleep and as we were supposed to be relaxing Bob has a horrible look on his face b/c his eyes are closed and he is focusing only on the thousands of pins and needles going into his asleep leg. My husband is funny. We have also found the greatest choc. chip cookies made on this earth at a Indian dudes-Raj, and Eric our new kind rainbow dready christian from san fran. and we get to watch dvd's there in the evenings. we are living large!! i dont' think i could drag bob away from here right now if i tried, so i may wait alittle while until i write again! love you all, can't wait to see everyone!~cari and bob~ i will try to put on some photos too~

bob's altitude
I believe you have found the height at which Bob functions well. this should be know as the B&CFA (Bob and Cari's functional altitude) combine this with the B&CPDQ (Bob and Cari's population density quota) weighted with the COL index and I think you guys can find the perfect place in the world to hang your undies out to dry. Your undies by the way had a great veiw.
in case no one has updated you Jill Kelly is getting married in Nashville on Thanksgiving Saturday this year.
Enjoy, thinking of both of you, take care of yourselves.
Yoga in the Mountains!
