Departing early in the morning it is so cold that we can see our breath! The walk follows old trainline and road formations in the forest, and we finally leave the Donelly River Watershed.

A few picnic sites on the route which were once sawmills. Meet 2 hikers in training for a walk in Nepal. At Gregory Brook, there are loads of birds. The chill descends quickly so we eat early and retire to our sleeping bags.
