Well today (September 23rd) will be our last for ground travel in the UK and it started off very wet and foggy as we left Underbarrow but then Margie Ann had an inspiration and navigated us through the English countryside until we ended up in Notrthern Wales and lovely sunshine.

The views in the bit of Wales we were in were absolutely fantastic and then as we returned to Manchester we once again encountered the rain and fog.

Tomorrow it is a day of waiting and sitting in airplanes as we cross back to the far side of the Atlantic.  The past three weeks have been great - the weather has had its up and downs as have the travel adventures but after almost 2,500 miles we certainly have seen a lot and met so many nice people.  The B&B experiences have been excellent with only one or two that do not rate the excellent but were still very good - just some of them set the expectation bar very high for others to try to achieve.

Stay tuned for more pictures as time permits.

On your way back home
Hi Guys,
Great pictures from you last day on the road... what a beautiful place the little bit of Wales you got to see was... Hope you have a great trip back home, looking forward to seeing the rest of the pictures when you have a chance to put them up. The travel-blog thing was really neat, it was fun to see where you were and what you were doing while you were far away. See you/talk to you both soon,
Love,
Tim, Higgins, Sacha, Dixie and Isabelle (dixie is visiting tonight...)
