Well I'm back in Toronto now after the last leg of my journey. A 13 hr train ride from New York City's Penn station to Toronto. It's been the first time I've been solo since Suzanne and I departed on this trip. In addition to being a very lonely train ride, the trip also dragged on as a result of the US/Canada border formalities. Oddly much longer than any of the border crossings we faced in Asia. At the end of it all they let one tired Canadian backpacker back into the country without too much of a hassle. Now back, my plan is to work for the next two months and squirrel away as much travel funds as I can before returning to Asia to finish what Suzanne and I started five months ago. As for our trip to Punta Cana, my sister tied the knot flawlessly and despite poor weather for almost the entire week, everyone had a great time. A smooth flight put us down in NYC where we spent a week reuniting with family and friends. Needless to say it was a very warm welcome home, after roughing it throughout Asia.
So this is it for our travelpod 'till we resume our travels again in 2 ½ months. So for now we hope you've enjoyed our travelpod updates & photos and hope you will join us on the finale of this trip in a few months time. See you then!
For all the fellow Sputniks out there that we've met on the road, safe travels and hope to run into you again!

Roger:
We met on the walkway at the Narrows in Utah. I friend was showing me around the park. So odd, I was looking the park over to do the same winter Narrow walk as you has/were about to take.
More than odd, I too was on a travel. A motorcycle/ motorhome 10,000 mile travel. Like you we were writing a travel blog which near ended when my partner Carol decided to leave. I'm solo now but who knows. Good luck to you and Lea. You both are so fortunate. Stay safe. Chriss
