We stayed long enough to transfer buses. Luckily, the bus staff called ahead and our connection waited for us. Our AndesMar bus was several hours late to start with and didn't make up any time on the road (quite the opposite in fact). At least we made our Penguinos bus, one of two from Rio Gallegos to Puerto Natales each week. We did not want to be stuck in Rio Gallegos for 3 days! Speaking of bus companies: that AndesMar bus was super comfy leather seats bigger than first class airplane seats. A little dirty though. Also we learned: always check yes for
con servicio. Twenty hour bus rides with no food or drink suck.
