Because of the excesive train travel and multiple stops, we have agreed that we are going to travel light on this trip - a bit of a challenge when part of the trip includes a cruise with two formal nights.  However, I got everything packed into one carry-on size suitcase and a back pack, and I have a bit of room to spare.  Amazing what you can cram into a small space if you plan it a bit - and I still have a number little geegaws that I could live without, if I had run out of room. 

I'm not sure if I'm feeling more excited or nervous at this point - excited about going, but nervous that I'm forgetting something important either that I should have done at home, or that I'm forgetting to take with us.  Either way, in eight hours we'll be off.
