Have you ever been on a two lane road with a old geezer driving a Buick trying to pass you on every hairpin turn? That was our experience...poor Peewee, looking out over the back seat, and seeing this dude swearing as he helms this giant automobile. We eventually pulled over when we could, and he roared by...
We went thru the park, taking pictures, and then stopped on the other side to photograph these buffalo that were grazing, then on to Kanab, a puny little town that borders the Arizona Utah border. You can drive down the main street and quickly realize aint nothing going on here. We went to a Mexican restaurant and were the only customers, and they seemed thrilled to have us...Food was excellent, and then we went all out and ordered margaritas,a nd the kitchen dude and waitress joined us. it was fun, especially since they were friendly and told us about how s-l-o-w it was there...You get the point. Kanab=PEACEFUL quiet and a bazillion miles from anywhere...
