Today, me and my mom went on the "famous" Golden Circle tour. We spent the day touring the southern coast of Iceland. The highlight of the day for me was Pingvellir National Park where we actually stood on TWO continents at once! The north american and euro-asian continental plates come together at Pingvellir. This is by far the coolest thing I have ever done! We also saw Gulfoss Waterfall, Strokkur geysir and the Great Geysir which is the largest in the world. We saw tons of Icelandic horses and the Myrdalsjokull Glacir from afar. It was freezing all day but I was loving it - I mean I was in Iceland! This has seriously been the trip of a lifetime!

When we got back to Reykavik from our tour we took the local bus back to my brother's basketball game back in Keflavik. What an experience! The people in Iceland are so nice and most speak English. They were very welcoming and helpful. Charlie's team won his game - a huge rivalry one - and we all went to the diner for pizza to celebrate.
