I have noticed that the birds are way different over hear, something I have not thought of before. I haven't seen any birds that I recognize except gulls. I don't know much about Vaasa but I know it is an industrial city of about 65,000 inhabitants. The town burned to the ground in 1852 with 25 out of 375 surviving the fire.
We attended the King Singers concert tonight in the Vaasa Church
The Festival covers our lodging and meals while we're here. The hotel is a quite nice and the food has been great. Festival performers choose from a set menu and our wives choose from the regular menu. We pay for our guest's meals. The meals have all been great in good restaurants. Some of the festival groups go around to the designated restaurants at specific times and serenade the patrons. We were treated this afternoon when a Russian group of young singers, "Ensemble Astrum Tenerum" came to the restaurant for a serenade. Eight young pretty girls and 2 young men. They were terrific - variety of music, good balance and energetic. They had attended Real Time's work shop earlier and the quartet was eating lunch when they came. They were very excited to sing for the barbershoppers as we were very receptive of their deserving performance.
