Today me and one of the French girls from the Rima Hotel head out to the bemo center to catch one to the Cancer. This village has a spider web looking rice field. Very nice panoramic looking area from the top of the hill. The bemo is around 5000Rp each way and it is worth it if you like to take photos. There are some tour agents try to sell things to you along the way. Just ignore them. You can do all of these easily.

After the rice field visit I went for a 3Km of walk to the Compong Ruteng Village. It is a nice walk out of town and worth to visit the village.

Then I head out to the Golo Cure which is nice hill with the panoramic views of more rice paddies around the area.

Ruteng is nice for a half day visit but everything is spread out and there are lots of wierd people around the town. This town is around 1800m above see level so it is very cold here compare to the LabuangBajo.

My mini bus to LabuangBajo is around 4pm and I am supposed to get there around 8pm. The best way to travel within Flores is with the minibuses. But you need to find out how to get them. They are not that well advertised around the island. They are clean, on time, and door to door to your hotel.

I got to LabuanBajo around 8:30pm. Very windy and bumpy drive but on time almost :) I checked out Bajo Beach Hotel and all the rooms were full. I went for a bite and when I was coming back I met Eline again in the internet cafe. She was staying at the Gardena Inn for 150,000Rp for a nice double room. So I asked her if I could stay with her and she agreed.

She told me that her flight yesterday was canceled to Bali. So I am a bit worried that same thing happens tomorrow to me. We have to wait and see.
