Friday 28 Movember

Friday and Saturday were dedicated to Sydney beaches. On Friday we took the bus to go to the world-famous Bondi beach. Unfortunately, once again, the weather was not on our side. The beach was almost empty due to the heavy rain. We spent our afternoon playing cards (agonia, that is a game that Thomas can play and apparently Mina cannot, judging from the score) in a café next to the beach. We carried on on the same relaxed pace, having coffee and dinner downtown (as usual Mina had Chinese and Thomas a burger).

Saturday 29 Movember
Mina woke up surprisingly early and had a walk around the hotel to find out that the weather, contrary to the forecast, was very sunny. We took the opportunity to take the ferry and visit the beautiful suburb Manly, north of Sydney. As expected, Manly was quite busy, yet lovely to walk about. We walked through the market and found ourselves in a picturesque beach full of surfers. We walked along the beach, which has numerous cafes and restaurant to relax and enjoy the view. We have to say that the whole set reminded us of a Greek island, only with worse food :). The small beach next to the main Manly beach is definitely worth visiting. It was full of locals and plenty of activities to do like scuba, snorkeling, beach volley or BBQing! Around 6pm we headed back to Sydney, which we could just make out from the ship through a thunderstorm. Nice view! We ended the day preparing ourselves for the 14-day tour along the East coast beginning tomorrow. Stay with us!
