Greeting
A lot of kilometres and a lot of time since our last connection.
After consulting with the internet and George we solved our Wolf Creek Pass problems by heading south to Santa Fe, New Mexico driving around the mountains. While there we visited with George's parents in Los Alamos.
We then picked up the former Route 66 and went to Amerillo, Texas then on to Oklahoma City and Tulsa were we stayed the night in a Motel as there were no campgrounds-we drove 14 hours that day.
At St Louis, Missouri we left Route 66 behind and went straight through Illinois and on to Indianapolis where we stayed the night in a campground. We then went on Ohio and again could not find a campground so we staying in a Motel.
Today we drove through Pennnsylvania and New York and are staying in a campground in Niagara Falls, Ontario (back in Canada and it is raining).
Mr Blue seems to like the lower altitude and is working fine.
After almost 3 weeks of 100 degree weather its good to leave it behind.
We will be staying in Ontario for close to a week before heading back into the states for our final journey home.
Take care,

Get Your Kicks on Route Sixty-Six
We were wondering if you past by Buzz and Todd on old Route 66...

We just returned from 4 be-ut-iful days on Hillside Drive!
Paula & Mike had a house concert on the 30th, and on the 2nd we went on a tour of the bay with Anna & Kenny.
Temperature got to about 30 C, but it had to be alot less than that on the bay.

Back in New Jersey it's been 100 F or better the past 3 or 4 days.

We'll be back upto see you around the 6th of September.

Stay safe. We've enjoyed the ride!

Pat & Scott

Ontario, Almost Home...
.....in comparison to the travelling you've done already! Are you looking forward to some Nova Scotia sea breezes after all that heat?
