Settling into Paros life. Today I've tried to load on some photos of what we have been up to, but they only seem to go to the first entry. Anyway have a look and see what this place is like. Thanks to all of you who have replied to let me know that things appear to be working - Scott thanks for the email; it comes through to my home address which is how I think I have set up the account. I'll let the boys read it at the next opportunity, they'll be appreciative of hearing from you.

We head to Santorini today. Just for a quick look and a few pictures of the sunset. We love it here - the C grade hotel is marvellous. Plumbing problems, doors that don't shut, 3 forks and 5 spoons - lots of quirks but definately greek, marble floors and 3 balconies which we use to get some shade.

A local dog seems to have adopted us. It keeps on chasing the tennis ball the boys take down to the beach so they have to play catch in the sea as it won't venture there. And so far on both mornings Annette have been for a run it has followed/led the way. We even trekked uphill for 20 minutes to view the "Delion Temple of Apollo" and it followed all the way. Beautiful time to run in the morning when it is cool enough and the sun rises over the peaks. Desperately need the exercise as the eating out is diminishing the wallet but expanding the waistline. Things don't look so bad brown so I'll have to spend more time in the sun to reduce the effect.

Went to Lefkes yesterday - reportedly the most beautiful village in the Greek Isles and it was easy to understand why. Very typically postcard greek village with narrow windy lanes and bourganvilleas, geraniums etc everywhere. All the houses whitewashed and blue shuttered. No rubbish anywhere either. The locals kitchens opened right onto the lane and I'm sure if Shirley had stumbled in the wrong place she would have ended up in someones living room. Great looking hotel there - hugely romantic looking spot, so any of you with need for such a place I would recommend a close look at this.

The sun is hot - so hot that most of the women only need half a swim suit, or that may be because there are lots of 50% off sales going on. None have made the Campbell family camera yet. Mum has eagle eyes. Never mind. A place with plenty of memories anyway.

from Lockie this time. Hope you're all well.

Getting Brown
Does you having to spend more time getting brown have anything to do with the 'half price bikinis'?

Lefkes sounds awesome - I'll have to remember that for the future! We are off to Perth on Monday 19th to visit Andrea's brother and family - can't wait! We have one of those low cloud/misty days today - not flash.

Better go and do some work - it is great to hear of your wonderful travels. I hope the dog doesn't follow for the next few weeks!

Take care

Scott
