Good things come to those who wait.
We couldnt hve finished off our last day at Wooli any better.
Peter and Nicole put out the crab net last night and although Peter was sceptical about netting anything, it was worth while.
So instead of having our regular fare of ham, cheese, tomato sandwiches for lunch - we had a feast of crab! Pretty impressive, I thought!
A few quiet days by the river. Cameron is off playing his 10th or 12th round of mini golf...... Nicole is sitting back watching back to back episodes of Scrubs, Peter is at the breakwater fishing and I am enjoying the sun, relaxing by the river.
Out for our pub meal (unless Peter reels in another catch!)
Heading further south to Newcastle. Another big day in the car!
It was dinner at the pub - they did catch some bream, but not worth the effort for a meal.
Not too bad a drive to Newcastle; 2 movies for the kids and a coffee and a book for me. Peter did the driving whilst we enjoyed the ride!.
Arrived around 5pm and had to set up for the first time in the rain. Not the most pleasant jobs but we went straight to Peters aunty's for our first home cooked meal (with golden syrup pudding for dessert - yummy)
Amazing how a day in the car doing nothing makes you more tired than a day filled with activities. All into bed and asleep by 9.30. (Peter should've been the only tired one after driving for 8 hours!!
We are staying at Lake Macquarie, another great spot on the water, but very very windy. We will spend the next few days catching up with Peters cousins and enjoying the last few days of travelling.
