We went to Dallas only to go to the Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles game because it was there last year playing in that stadium before moving to the new stadium. This was during the time that Galveston, Texas was hit by the hurricane.  Once again were flying standby but because the hurricane came so far inland even Dallas was getting hammered with rain and the flight to Dallas was canceled. We were really nervous that because the flight was canceled all the people would be pushed over to the flights the next day and we wouldnt make our flight.  We were just about ready to jump in the car and take the 20+ hour drive, but we decided to take our chances.  We were nervous because we had spent a lot of money on the tickets and didnt want them to go to waste.  Luckily we were able to make a flight the next day.  We stayed in Dallas with one of my friends.  I wish we would have taken some pictures of the city of Dallas because it was nice.  It was a lot greener than we thought it would be.  Sunday when we got there we took a tour of Texas Stadium.  The tour was great we were able to see pretty much everything.  We were able to go down on the field and throw the ball around.   It felt amazing to go and play catch on the field.  Growing up as a kid you can only imagine doing something like that.  The next day was the Monday night football game against division rival Philadelphia Eagles.  The game was intense, it was close the entire time and went right down to the last minute.  Dallas won 41 to 37.  We were able to see Tony Romo Hook up with T.O multiple times, one time right in front of us in the corner of the end zone.  We also saw Felix Jones run a kick off back for a touchdown.  I swear he ran the length of the field in no time, its amazing how fast the players are.  The other thing I remember was that parking was  joke.  We arrived 3 hours early to the stadium and by the time we paid $30 to park probable two miles away from the stadium we barely got there on time.  I couldnt believe that we spent almost two hours in line trying to park.  After the game was over we waited for all the players to come out of the parking tunnel.  We were able to see everyone.  We followed Tony Romo until he pretty much got on the freeway mainly for my wife.  We definitely will be going back to watch a Cowboys game and to check out the new stadium.
