What is it like to come back home after being gone for so long? The truth is, everything is so familiar that you almost forget how long you were gone after a few days.

We were picked up at the airport by my parents, and a slew of friends who surprised us. It was great to see everyone and catch up, even if only very briefly. So nice to see familiar faces after so long.

We had a whirwind two days in Calgary getting a cell phone, updating our resumes, meeting about prospective jobs, and getting ready for one last night bus - up to Beaverlodge and and the Cassity Farm!
