After traveling around northern India for a couple of weeks we thought it would be nice to take a little break from all the chaos and enjoy ourselves on the beaches in Goa. Goa is a former Portuguese colony. The beaches were definitely a nice get away from the rest of India and we sat on the beach and enjoyed great seafood for the first couple of days. Dad and I even para-sailed at sunset on the second day.

After a couple of days we were ready for a little more to do and that meant a nice spice tour in the surrounding hills. We saw bay leaf, Cinnamon, Turmeric, cardamom, lemon-grass, pepper, chilli, pineapples, cashews, nutmeg .....

We sent the kids off to the airport and it was really fun showing them around India. We had one more day ourselves to relax and pack before ending our India time in Chennai.
