For our final day, we visited the Harvard Museum of Natural History and MIT. At the Harvard Museum of Natural History, we saw a lot of things. There is a whole room where all the plants are glass! The animals are also very cool. At MIT we went to see the "toy" room. It is a room with a whole bunch of toys that are made by MIT students. There is one computer program that is called Start. It is kind of like google but it is programed to answer your questions like a human. For instance if you asked, "Why did the chicken cross the road?" It will say, "I think people say the chicken crossed the road because it wanted to get to the other side." We also got to test these booklets that are meant for children. They have challenging activities in them. The booklets are meant to teach children to invent things. The booklets were being made by college graduate students. One student had just started his PHD, and one other student was working on her under graduate degree. So that is basically what we did today.---Chi

We are heading to Fenway to see the Sox play the Angels this evening.  The students have been waiting for this moment all week! They'll tell you all about it tomorrow afternoon when our bus pulls into the Crane parking lot.  We'll call when we are in the Ventura area, so you can all be there to see your lovelies when they arrive.  We've had a big week, but I think we're all ready to be back in Santa Barbara.  Have a good night and we'll see you soon!  ---Ms. Althoff
