Today we visited the sites of Lexington and Concord to relive the events that started the American Revolution, and we ended our tour relaxing and journaling on the banks of Walden Pond. Our stops included the Hancock House, Buckman Tavern, The Minutemen Museum, Old North Bridge and Walden Pond. When we returned to Boston, we headed for Boston Common for a quick game of capture the flag. It was an all around fantastic day.

All of the photos and descriptions have been exciting, but I especially love today's posting: I wish I were sitting at the edge of Walden Pond right now! Thanks, Carrie, for letting us travel with you all, and thanks to all the chaperones for making it possible for the kids to be there having fun. Dad and I send our love, Lily: xoxoxoxoxoxo!
