. The next day, I was stopped and told I couldn't bring water in.....OK, so I had to pay 6.00 for a small, hot bottle of water. The pools at the Hard Rock are amazing! The coolest pools I have ever seen, worth a trip out there to check out the pools. When my husband was finally done with his meetings, he showed me around Vegas. We had a nice dinner at the Bellagio, an Italian restaurant that I cannot remember the name of. We watched "O", best show Ive ever seen, and we played some slots and lost a lot of money, oh well, that's Vegas, right! The next morning we had planned a hike at Red Rock Canyon. Anyone who loves the outdoors, as we do, would enjoy this. We booked a private hike through, Hike This. I can't remember his name either, but he was great. Best part of my trip to Vegas was this hike. Red Rocks is beautiful, and I'm so glad we did it. After a long 5 days in Vegas, I was ready for home, and my bed. I think that if I went back, I would stay in a different hotel, and not stay as long as we did. Vegas is expensive, and 5 days was too much for me, and in June it is HOT!
So, my husband was going on another business trip and I thought, hey, I've never been to Vegas, Ill tag along. We left on a Tuesday night, had a direct flight out of Cincinnati (awesome)!! Flying into Vegas at night is amazing. It's dark, dark, and then all the sudden there's this HUGE area of lights that stretch for miles. We were both pretty tired so we checked into the Hard Rock and walked across the street to a Mexican Restaurant. The food was very authentic, if you've been to Mexico, you know what I'm referring too. The drinks were strong, and the service was nice and quick. That night we called it early, I was jet lagged and my husband needed to be up early for his meetings. So over the next couple days, I spent my time wandering Vegas, shopping, spending a fortune on cabs, and lounging at the pool. The pools at the Hard Rock were beautiful, but get there early, but not before 10am, because they don't open until then. The first day I went, I had no problems getting a chair, and the service there is excellent, however expensive. By expensive, I mean $16 for an 8 oz drink, without tip
