The flight was a blurred as I passed out but coming into land had amazing view of the island itself with crystal clear water. Exited the airport where they operate a ticket systems for taxi's for nobody gets stung but taxi person, which was nice.

I landed into my double bed accommodation and thought once again it bloody hot with only a fan rotating around. I stayed in a guest house just down from the main resort of chenghi which had no accommodation and anyway it was way to expensive for my sinking budget.

The island has several tourist things like crafts market, boat trips and cable car to the north of the island. Taxi's are very expensive. 20 ringgit for one sight-seeing. As I investigated I found out I could rent a car for the day for 60 ringgit. 9.50p! Cost me 12 pounds in total for 24 hours worth of fuel. The following day I picked up the car and drove around the island. Sometimes un-intentionally as the road signs aren't that great. First point of call was the cable car located in a geopark. The park was very beautiful indeed. I caught the cable up to the first viewing which was great and then on to the peak where lies a suspension bridge. After walking down many dodgy steps I was on it with apprehensive of the height. Its an amazing piece of construction.

Following the cable car ride I decided to the sea world centre. Nothing must spectatcular but interesting with a rubbish 10 minute 3D film. Once finished I just cruised around the island until dark where it becomes pitch black.

I decided to see if I could extent for an additional night at my guest house but to no avail as the place was fully booked. So I booked a late back to KL to stay in same hostel before motoring to Phuket in Thailand.

One thing I wanted to do was a boat excursion around the islands. This would finish around 1:30pm and I needed to check out 11am. I booked it anyway and the manager kindly let me stay until I arrived back. The boat trip was pretty cool and amazing secluded beach but the most interesting has to be the feeding of eagles. There were at least 100 of them. Sprayed some chicken bits into the sea and let dive down for feeding. Great picture to see.

I arrived back from tour and decided to get myself to the airport after dropping off the car. I had 2 and half hours to kill so I found these massaging chair that are coin operated and fell asleep very comfortably.
