The last day in our apartment was as the last two weeks have been.  Up at the butt crack of dawn to finish packing and begin the cleaning whirlwind.  As it was last year, the day was rainy and overcast, but this time, adventure was in the air.  Cheryl and I packed the car, tied down a few items in the POD, had breakfast at Big Bear (tear), and then set off for the great unknown. If by unknown you mean...Cheryl's parents house! 
We decided against passing all of the historic sites of our nation's capital and instead went through North East DC on New York Ave.  How ironic since we were heading to the great state of New York...   - Ann E.
