We just arrive, so far, so good. The Hyatt is very nice. We are headed out to dinner and to do a little gambling. Tomorrow is a tour of the Budweiser Brewery and then onto Kansas City, MO in the evening. More to come later.

The Budweiser Brew Master Tour was well worth the money! The tour is about an hour and a half to an hour and four-five minutes of all behind the scenes places in the brewery. Plus, you get a hat, glass, plenty of beer.

The first stop was Stock House 17 which is where the secondary fermentation takes place. We got to sample Bud Light unfiltered which is actually really good with the yeast still in the beer. We then made our way over to the Primary fermentation tanks where they soak the beer on Beech wood which allows the beer and yeast to have more surface area contact for fermentation.

Next we went to see the Mash Tanks and Brew Kettles - after leaving that part of the tour a 95 degree day with high relative humidity actually felt cool.

Then it was onto packaging! I can't exactly remember the numbers of bottles they package per minute, but its ridiculous and loud. Everything moves very quickly there which is very very cool.

We then took a trolley over to see the Clydesdales, which are just unbelievable animals. We got to meet Jake the worlds largest Clydesdale. He is 7 ft 3 inches at the withers and weighs some 2300 pounds. The Tack Room in the barn is amazing as well.

Finally, we went to the Finishing Tanks which is the last stop before packaging. We got to taste beer directly out of the tank. It is amazing, fresh and wonderful.

They then take you back to the lounge and give you an entire refrigerator of beer to dig into. They left us for 45 minutes to drink as much as we wanted. Trust me I had my fill.

All-in-all, it was a great day.

Off to Kansas City, MO.
