Accidentally found the Bush compound in Kennebunkport. It had a US, Maine, and Texas flag flying, was on an otherwise secluded point, and had plenty of places for his support staff. Did a Google search when we got back to the hotel, and sure enough, it was!

Visited the 'Portland Head Light' and was surprised to learn that the USS Eagle was sunk by a German U-boat only nine miles off this Portland, Maine site in 1945!

Entered Boothbay, Maine... incorporated in 1764! Drove out to Ocean Point, nine miles east of Boothbay... the end of the road!
