Sadly today has been forgettable, Dad  had a heart attack this morning and off to hospital we went.
He was seen at the Louis Pasteur Hospital in Cherbourg and then taken by ambulance off to Caen for some cardiac testing.

I have moved in to the hotel adjacent to Caen Hospital and await test news etc.

Up until today Dad had been going real well, this morning I noticed after I got up from bed that he was a little subdued (every morning until now Dad has been up and in the shower before 7am). This morning he lay in bed until 8am.

We had packed our bags and were just about to leave Chris & Rosa's place when Dad started to feel nauseous and the chest pain started.

Not sure where we are right at the minute, we were due to visit north east France, Lille and the Somme area. That is out of the question now. What is also unlikely is that we will be on the plane home on Friday. At this point Dad is not well enough to travel.

I hope the next 2 days he perks up a bit.
