This was an independent tour of South East Asia under a special program by Malaysian Airlines. They provided all the international flights and domestic flights in Thailand, all hotel accommodations, and a half day tour in each city with a private local guide and driver. I had plenty of free time to explore on my own, and learn how to be independent in countries where I don't speak the language or can't read their signs. It was a challenge, but also a good learning experience.

11 Feb 95: SFO to LAX to Kuala Lumpur
13 Feb 95: Arrive Kuala Lumpur, transfer to Melia Hotel.
14 Feb 95: Kuala Lumpur half day tour
15 Feb 95: Flight to Bali; transfer to Kuta Palace Hotel
16 Feb 95: Bali half day tour
17 Feb 95: Free day
18 Feb 95: Flight to Singapore; transfer to Amara Hotel
19 Feb 95: Singapore half day tour
