I visited my wife and her friend when they spent about a month training in ostomy/wound nursing skills in Houston, because it's been awhile since my visit to that city, and I also wanted to visit New Orleans during the same trip.

While in Houston, I was able to visit the Remington Museum, Johnson Space Center, and New Orleans.   My wife and I flew to San Antonio to watch our son graduate from the Air Force Officer's school, and my wife was able to tack on his Lieutenant bars for the first time.   Our son stayed in the Air Force for over 12-years and made the rank of Major.  He served two assignments during the First Gulf War.   I made it to Airman First Class (buck sergeant) in 18 months (which was considered pretty good in peace time or during a war).

I'll have to dig up my photo album, scan the pictures, and download them to this blog.  Give me a couple of days to complete this task.  (4/30/2010)

I'm about 9 months late, but as the saying goes, better late than never.

My wife and I attended the Texas Renaissance Festival in Plantersville.

Please go to New Orleans for the continuation of this journey.
