Nov 13, Wed: VIENNA has beautiful buildings and music.  It's one of this planets grand cities created by the Romans in the city's center.  It was the capital of the Babanberg dynasty followed by the Austrian Habsburgs.  It became Europes cultural center, and one of Europe's biggest cities in the 19th century.

Our tour of the city departed from the boat at 1pm for 3.5 hours.  The names of places and buildings in Vienna doesn't resemble anything I can compare it to, and I didn't bother to listen to the local guide for them.  I was suffering from information overload.  It was just too difficult to follow, but please enjoy the pictures.

After our guided tour, we were given some free time to explore on our own.   Alexander, Chris and I went to an Australian pub for beer and snacks.

That evening, we went to a concert that was very good.   I enjoyed the music of Mozart and Strauss.
