SORRENTO:
Sep 12: Another leisure day for those of us that skipped the optional tour to the Isle of Capri, so Bill, Elaine, and I walked to the train station where the double-decker tour bus (12 Euros) offers get-on get-off at the six stops on the route from the train station (1) to two stops (2) & (3) in Sorrento to Massa Lubrense (4), to Termini (5), to Sant'Agata sui due Golfi (6),, then back to the train station.
We had planned to ride the whole route that takes 1 hour and 40 minutes first to get a feel for the area, then go back and have lay-overs at the towns that looked promising, but we didn't do that! We got off at the end of the line, and walked towards the port, our favorite destination.
I walked 5 miles.
