MAY 19: Salt Lake City
Sorry that I made the mistake of deleting my pictures of Jackson Hole and SLC, because our visit to the state capitol building was quite interesting, and Temple Square with the museums are well done.   Unfortunately, the Tabernacle Choir was being used in making some recordings, and the public were not allowed inside.   The acoustics inside the Tabernacle is excellent.

I was able to visit the LDS Family History Library where I was able to obtain the 1910 US Census from Paia, Maui, that lists my grandparents and their children as the third family on the census.

Since SLC was used as a break from our long trek from Jackson Hole to Bryce Canyon (over 526 miles), our one night at the Radisson was well received by all.

25 in our tour group ended their tour in SLC.

*************
The pictures from Bryce Canyon to Grand Canyon will show off some of the geological wonders we have in the US.   One of the wonderful surprise not on our itinerary on the second half of this tour was our stop at Seligman, Arizona, on the old Route 66.    The pictures will have to tell the "story."   The "old-timers" will really appreciate it.
