APR 11; Athens. Well, we have finally arrived to Athens, and our last day to see this part of the Mediterranean Sea's major port and one of histories major metropolis.
Since this was about my fifth visit to Athens, there wasn't much I wanted or needed to see, so I walked around the Parthenon "hill" to get acquainted with other sections most visitors do not see.
Some of the sections where I walked was void of other people, but there was one special place, Archaiologikos Choros, from where one can view the Temple of Hephaestus, and the stairway up to the Parthenon. It was the first time I have climbed this rock with such a great view of the temple and Athens. I also walked down narrow stairways in what seemed like private homes on the hillside of the Acropolis. I enjoyed myself tremendously!

My next trip with my wife will be to the National Parks in May.
